Oxford Canal: Southern Hillmorton railway bridge
Oxford Canal: Southern Hillmorton railway bridge, taken 5 years ago
The former London & North Western Railway's two main lines joined at a junction to the south-east of Rugby, but north-west of the canal, necessitating the construction of two separate bridges over the canal in close proximity, about 50 metres apart, to one another. This is the southern one of the pair, carrying the direct line from Roade. SP5473 : Oxford Canal: Northern Hillmorton railway bridge is in the distance beyond.
