These two blocks of houses are the first part of the major development of Rochester Riverside.
Rochester Riverside
A 74-acre (30-hectare) brownfield site between the River Medway and the railway line is being developed with high-quality high-density housing. Up to 50 homes per hectare will be built.
The site will also contain two hotel, health centre, primary school and office and commercial spaces.
The site has accommodated a wide variety of industrial, commercial and maritime activities since the beginning of the 19th century but has become largely disused in recent years.
