A wet summer and recent prolonged rain have caused several landslips, mudslides and rockfalls around the area. Some popular footpaths have been affected including the nearby Coast-to-Coast route between Crackpot Hall and Swinner Gill. This particular slide does not seem to have crossed a path but those sheep should be more careful?
