Interior of Birmingham Cathedral
Cathedral Church of St Philip, view towards the east end. England's second city has one of the smallest three cathedrals in the country. However, it is the only cathedral in the Baroque style. It was built as a parish church in 1715 and "promoted" to cathedral in 1905 when the new diocese of Birmingham was created.
