The south-eastern coastlands of the Cooley Peninsula
The south-eastern coastlands of the Cooley Peninsula
This area has some of the best farming land on this mainly upland peninsula. The town and port of Greenore stand out prominently on the strip of land that projects out into the Carlingford Lough. On the opposite side of the loch are the farmlands of the Greencastle and Cranfield areas of Co. Down.
