TQ0518 : The River Arun south of Pulborough
near to Pulborough, West Sussex, Great Britain

The River Arun south of Pulborough
There is a stretch of the Arun immediately south of Pulborough where the river divides, running through the Brooks in two separate channels for a kilometre or so. The view here is downstream along the more northerly of the two channels, towards the point (perhaps 100m ahead) where the two reconverge. In the immediate foreground a minor channel flows into the river from the left.
The banks here are overgrown with willows - 'sallows' may be the right word.
