Black Covert is the southern part of the wood covering Langdon Hill, ahead. This view is from a gate which takes the coast path (and Monarch's Way) out of the clifftop area of heath shown in SY4192 : Fence by the coast path to Seatown and across the rolling field. A separate path branches off up the field to meet Petticrate Lane, which runs along the edge of the covert.
