Unnamed road junction west of Aldsworth
Centre shot through the trees can be seen the Church of St Bartholomew Aldsworth. It's interesting to note from Google Earth that the line of this very straight road continues as a field boundary to the church. Certainly in Northern France rural lanes tend to run from church spire to church spire through otherwise featureless landscape. Perhaps that's how people navigated before satnavs and maps?
