SO7901 : Frocester Hill

near to Coaley Peak, Gloucestershire, Great Britain

Frocester Hill
Frocester Hill
A long and, in places, steep ascent from Frocester up the Cotswold escarpment. Although this is a minor road, it makes a useful cross-country route from Nailsworth or Tetbury to Gloucester and the M5, avoiding Stroud. The rainbow and the good visibility are both symptoms of the day's showery weather.
