The Lancashire boiler is no longer in use with a modern boiler fitted in behind.
Dogdyke pumping station

The Dogdyke pumping station houses a steam powered beam pumping engine dating from 1854. It replaced several windpumps. After the steam engine ceased use in the 1940s with installation of the diesel the chimney was felled.
The site is a now a museum that runs in steam.
