St Wilfred's church, Metheringham
Grade II* listed.
Originally dating from the 12th and 13th Century. Suffered a fire in 1599 after which it was restored. Marks of previous building to the west of the tower, partly obscured by a large buttress built in 1602. North and south aisles with 3 bay arcades. Tower has a fine set of Gargoyles.
Contains a monument to Sir Thomas Moore and Lucy Skipwith.
Church was locked.
