Narrowboat in Minworth Bottom Lock, Birmingham
Birmingham and Fazeley Canal; the boat is en route to Fazeley Junction. The widely spaced Minworth Three Locks flight provides a fall in water level of 16ft 8in (about five metres). This lock is Minworth No 3.

Because of the lock design, narrowboats on the British canal system are limited to seven feet in beam, and a maximum of seventy, (or on some canals sixty or seventy-two) feet in length. This vessel, built in 1998 is 42 feet in length.
