NY4715 : The long, long climb up Measand End

4 km from Dale Head, Cumbria, Great Britain

The long, long climb up Measand End
The long, long climb up Measand End
Like most convex slopes this one seems to go on and on. There are virtually no objects of interest apart from the occasional rock in the grass or peat hag higher up. However, the backwards view does get improve with height - an excuse to stop and look. Beyond the Haweswater Dam is the Lowther Valley with the North Pennines beyond again.
