Part of the River Windrush in Bourton-on-the-Water
Many of Bourton's buildings are given over to feeding and watering the large influx of tourists that swoop on the village centre all year round. I understand that the village population of 3-4,000 residents doubles in summer with each days visitors. It seems that every other building is a pub, restaurant, tea room or coffee shop. Those that aren't sell gifts, jewellery or houses. Anyway the ducks are well fed and glossy.
