St. George's church, Dunster

The sign give it its full title "The Priory and Parish Church of St. George, Dunster". This reveals some of its history where the building has served two purposes, as a priory and as a parish church, the two working uneasily together for many years. This is the south side and shows a number of Perpendicular Gothic windows from the early 15th century. The tower was built in 1442.
