Grand Union Canal: Bridge Number 36
The bridge was originally built to provide an access from Radford Road, to the north of the canal, to a small wharf with some limekilns on the south side of the canal. The wharf and limekilns disappaeared long before the industrial and residential development of the area, and today the bridge provides an access from Radford Road to and from Danesbury Crescent.
