Southern end of the Heriothill (or, Rodney Street) Tunnel
The view of the southern end of the Rodney Street Tunnel on the former northern suburban line from Granton and Trinity to Scotland Street.
The tunnel is relatively short and took the railway line beneath Rodney Street and Broughton Road before emerging at its northern entrance NT2575 : Northern end of the Heriothill (or, Rodney Street) Tunnel.
The tunnel entrance is now surrounded by vegetation and relatively new buildings appear above the parapets. The view is quite different from that from over 100 years ago as can be seen from an internet link.Link
