Seen in the Eyam limestones, bivalves/brachiopods can be seen. In the Devonian most reef builders were wiped out in a mass extinction so algal mats were prominent. The limestone here is mostly carbonate mud. These crinoids and valves were possibly washed here from the reefs in a storm?
