Twenty-first century travellers through Balham station will often have noticed the 1950s lettering proclaiming "Roberts for Ekcovision" which still survives on the top of a row of shops, although the electrical goods shop which was advertised by it has now gone. This image shows the shop as it was: the precise date of the image is not known but it is thought to have been taken around 1985.
