St John's Hill and Lavender Hill
St John's Hill and Lavender Hill
St John's Hill (the A3036) drops past Clapham Junction station (left) to the crossroads of St Johnís Road, St Johnís Hill, Falcon Road and Lavender Hill. It seems strange that the junction doesn't seem to have a name. Prominent right of centre is the tower of Arding and Hobbs LinkExternal link ; nearer at hand are the twin ogee roofs of the Grand Theatre LinkExternal link . The terrace left of centre climbs Lavender Hill (also the A3036).
