Market Cross and Goblin Ha' Hotel, Gifford
Market Cross and Goblin Ha' Hotel, Gifford
Late 18th Century Market Cross however although a cross has remained on the present site for 2 centuries, the continual repairs suggest that it has effectively been renewed. Four identical painted shields (of the Tweeddales) clasp the urn on top of the cross. Goblin Ha' Hotel was established by the 1920s in 18th and 19th century buildings.
