Spring Lane
Spring Lane
Usually a busy little short-cut for traffic travelling into Sonning from Henley. It has been restricted to one-way traffic for as long as I can remember (over twenty years). Flooding is a regular occurrence as it crosses the Thames floodplain. Ironically the council had positioned temporary signs facing in the 'wrong' direction. By this stage water levels had dropped to only about four inches spread over a couple of hundred yards.
