St Cuthbert's House
St Cuthbert's House
This former church became known as St Cuthbert’s in 1972, when the United Reformed Church came into being with the union of the Presbyterian and Congregational denominations. It was first opened as a place for Christian worship in April 1810 under the name The North Sunderland Associate Meeting House and served the community for 200 years.
The building you see here is now in use as a luxury B&B, with a thoughtfully renovated interior which uses many of the original features, including wooden panelling, timber columns and the original floorboards.
