The ruins of Bedw Argoed
The ruins of Bedw Argoed
This was the house of the owner of the Bedw Argoed woollen mill situated on the bank of Afon Fachwen. Argoed means an enclosure of trees and bedw is birch, so Bedw Argoed means an 'enclosure of birch trees'
