Bridge over the River Welland, Market Deeping
The bridge carries Lincoln Road, part of the B1524, across the River Welland. The road was the major road here prior to the building of the bypass in 1998. The bridge was opened in July 1842, but the contract made the contractors bankrupt. Previously there had been a wooden bridge here since at least the 16th century.
