Wrotham Park Gates
Wrotham Park Gates
These gates guard one of the entrances to Wrotham Park a fine stately home between Potters Bar and Barnet. It is a Palladian Mansion designed by Isaac Ware in 1754 and built for Admiral John Byng, the fourth son of Admiral Sir George Byng. There is a pub in Potters Bar called The Admiral Byng.
These days it is a venue for parties and corporate events etc. - visit their own website here: LinkExternal link
