SK3027 : Church of St Wystan, Repton
taken 11 years ago, near to Repton, Derbyshire, England
Church of St Wystan, Repton
Repton has a fair claim to be the 'cradle of Christianity in the Midlands'
Link . The church is famous for its Saxon crypt. I've never been to a St Wystan church before. Wystan was a prince of Mercia whose murder in 849 was seen as martyrdom. Miracles occurred after his burial in Repton.
