NT1255 : Baddinsgill Dam

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Carlops, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Baddinsgill Dam
Baddinsgill Dam
The dam holding the Baddinsgill Reservoir, one of several small reservoirs in the Pentlands and one of the more recently built. It does not appear on the 1940's OS map. The name is curious, as it's the Lyne Water that is dammed, not the Baddinsgill Burn.
