The Bede or Watch House at Pilton
The Bede or Watch House at Pilton
This house, Grade II listed, has an interesting architectural appearance. It is thought to date from the 16th century. The curious brick stack on the left has an access point which is said to be a lookout. The house is believed to have connections with the Tresham family who lived at the Manor House also shown in this square.
