Part of the Rushpark estate is laid out in a standard manner. This part, near the Shore Road end of the Doagh Road, now has mature trees and extensive areas of well-maintained grass. The two tower blocks J3581 : Woodland House and Beechwood House, Rushpark, Newtownabbey, for which the estate is better known, are almost entirely hidden by the trees.
