Viewed from the corner of Morgan Way. The road ahead, the B4239 from Duffryn to St Brides, is closed for 6 months, from the end of October 2012 until April 2013. Network Rail said essential improvements needed the closure of the bridge which carries the road over the South Wales main line railway ahead. To reach St Brides from this point now requires a 10-mile trip along the diversion route compared with 2 miles along the closed direct route.
