National Museum of Scotland - the mortsafe
This heavy metal lockable coffin was designed to thwart the efforts of the resurrectionists or body-snatchers in the 19th century. I really couldn't resist a shot in passing. Although the technology is what draws me to this museum, items like this and 'Dolly the sheep' remind me of the day job.
