Haysden Country Park is situated to the West of Tonbridge in Kent. The 64 hectare area of land comprising open grass land, woods and lakes, is rich in wildlife and is a site of Nature Conservation interest. The River Medway also runs through a stretch of it. There are paths for walking, riding and cycling.

Barden Lake is located in Haysden Country Park.It was created when sand and gravel was extracted from the land between 1974 and 1980. Dragline excavators were used to dig the material out. The Lake is approximately 3.6 metres (12 feet) deep. Today the lake is popular with fishermen and has a variety of waterfowl.
