NZ1352 : The Jolly Drovers Maze at Leadgate

taken 11 years ago, near to Leadgate, County Durham, England

The Jolly Drovers Maze at Leadgate
The Jolly Drovers Maze at Leadgate
Designed by Andy Goldsworthy and constructed in 1989 on the site of the old Eden Pit Colliery, this maze lies on the line of the C2C cycle route. Quite recently the path has been laid with tarmac - compare with NZ1352 : The Jolly Drovers Maze, Leadgate. The main body of the maze is no longer getting its annual "haircut" and is looking very overgrown.
