NJ0652 : A dearth of wildlife

taken 11 years ago, near to Branchill, Moray, Great Britain

A dearth of wildlife.
A dearth of wildlife.
In this forage through such an undisturbed area the lack of any form of animal OR birdlife was staggering. Once the haunt of the Capercaillie it is widely believed that the success of the Pine Marten, a most accomplished killer is partly to blame for this.
