Geograph - photograph every grid square

TR0917 : Dungeness lifeboat station in 1968 As I wanted to establish the correct grid reference for Dungeness lifeboat station, I sent an email (on 30 January 2010)to the Dungeness RNLI lifeboat press officer and Judith Richardson wrote (on 31 January 2010): Thank you for your enquiry and I can tell you the grid reference for the lifeboat house is TR094184. We did have an old boathouse further south of the lifeboat house with a slipway to launch the lifeboat from, nearly thirty years ago, but it was demolished when a new boathouse was built in 1976 to house a new lifeboat, with a tractor and carriage-launching facility, so the lifeboat is now able to be launched 24 hours a day and not, as before, when we were shut out at low tide.
