SK2573 : Hillside lacking trees

taken 12 years ago, near to Curbar, Derbyshire, England

Hillside lacking trees
Hillside lacking trees
This well-used old path crosses open ground which could sustain woodland and on the far right of this scene there is a fence, beyond which some healthy woodland is protected. One day perhaps these slopes will have a natural amount of trees everywhere.
