Promontory into Angle Tarn
Promontory into Angle Tarn
Most sizeable bodies of water in the Lake District are linear or more or less round; Angle Tarn in the Far Eastern Fells, (Wainwright nomenclature), is somewhat different, having bays and this promontory. The Helvellyn mountain range lies in the distance.
