East Park and James Reckitt Avenue, Hull

This is the view from above Ings Road Estate at a height of about 2500' (800m) looking in a westerly direction down the first straight part of James Reckitt Avenue. The photograph covers several 1Km squares, but the foreground is in TA1231. It was taken with a 135mm lens giving it a 'compressed' perspective look. East Park can be seen in the bottom left hand corner with its ornamental bridge crossing the middle of the boating lake. Nearly opposite this point, on the other side of James Reckitt Avenue, is Malet Lambert School. In the distance can be seen 'Reckitt's Chimney' a 450' (137m) structure in the industrial Stoneferry area of Hull.
