Floods in Charlecote Park
Floods in Charlecote Park
View north east from the public footpath through Charlecote Park towards the rear terrace of the gardens behind the house. Part of the terrace can be seen to be under water.
After prolonged heavy rains, the River Avon was swollen to the extent that the house and gardens had to close for the day due to flooding in the cellars and around the park.
