Flooded fields near Barford
Flooded fields near Barford
Looking west from the new A429 bridge over the River Avon, part of the Barford bypass.
After an extended period of heavy rain, the River Avon has overflowed across the flood plain, and covered the surrounding fields.
The normal route of the river is to the right of the trees on the right of the photo.
The spire of All Saints Church, Sherbourne can just be seen through the trees to the right of centre.
