Standing stone on Tinside Rigg
Standing stone on Tinside Rigg
Tinside Rigg is a minor top rising to 624m at its highest mapped point which is not the location of this stone. The area is part of the MOD range at Warcop as is Little Fell, the mountain in the distance. The face of the standing stone in view is cut with the date (presumably), 1857 and the letter W; the other side has the inscription, 2B.
