Five Pits Trail
Five Pits Trail
The photograph shows the Five Pits Trail running down the side of a copse as it heads in a south-easterly direction toward Tibshelf.

The signpost and memorial SK4362 : Plaque set into the stone are in remembrance of Tom Hulatt, a Tibshelf athlete who came third in Roger Bannister's first sub-four-minute mile at Iffley Road, Oxford, 6th May 1954. (Details from: LinkExternal link )

Behind the viewpoint the trail passes a SK4362 : Picnic Area.
