Interior of St. Swithun's Church (1) - looking towards the altar, Church Street, Worcester
The church although still consecrated is only used occasionally for religious services. Since 1977 it has been in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, a registered charity. It was open during Worcester's Victorian Christmas Fayre 2012.
The church's tower dates from Tudor times, but the rest was rebuilt in the Georgian period in 1734-36. It is a rare almost unaltered example of early Georgian church architecture.
