I waited what felt like ages for a train to come along, and suddenly there were two. This is the main line between Edinburgh and Glasgow, which has a service every 15 minutes, and it also carries rail traffic for Stirling and further north, so it's quite a busy line. The hill in the background in Binns Hill, and you can see the tower on top of the hill and, down to the left, the House of the Binns in NT0578. The curious-looking crop in the foreground is brussels sprouts.
