An upland church with a view, situated some 1000ft above sea level on the side of Clee Hill looking out southwards and eastwards towards Birmingham, the
Black Country, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. St. John the Baptist church was built in the 1840's to serve as a 'poorman's church' for the local quarrymen and farmworkers.
