Triptych & Altar Candles, St Giles
Triptych & Altar Candles, St Giles
According to the church guide the outer panels of the triptych are closed up during Lent, and it was installed "at the turn of the century", which I assume means from 19th to 20th! For the first week in December St Giles' church was open during the day for a Christmas Tree Festival, for which 24 Norwegian pine trees had been decorated by local schools, traders and other groups. Four of the trees can be seen in this photo.
