NY7028 : Bridge over Swindale Beck

taken 12 years ago, 3 km from Knock, Cumbria, Great Britain

Bridge over Swindale Beck
Bridge over Swindale Beck
Swindale Beck drains water from the western flank of Knock Fell in the northern Pennines. The substantial footbridge carries the Pennine Way over the watercourse which is very bouldery and can no doubt transport a significant amount of water when in spate.
