Canal restoration project
Canal restoration project
There is an ambitious project to restore the 5.5 miles of Dudley No. 2 Canal (Lapal Canal) between Halesowen and the Worcester & Birmingham Canal in Selly Oak. Although much remains to be done, this section under Harborne Lane is am important enabling work and includes the canal trough (one boat width) in the middle with space for a towpath each side.
