SP0483 : Bourn Brook

near to Selly Oak, Birmingham, Great Britain

Bourn Brook
Bourn Brook
Two brick tunnels taking the Bourn Brook through the embankment that was built initially for the Worcester and Birmingham Canal and then the railway. I have erroneously referred to these as being for the Dudley No. 2 Canal but that was at a higher level and joined the W & B canal end to side. The Dudley No. 2 (Lapal) Canal is hopefully going to be reinstated and its final section will be incorporated (hopefully) into a supermarket development.
